Collection: Celebrations (2021)

Celebrations (2021)

Celebrations marked twenty-five years of the Pokémon Trading Card Game in 2021, and it is not built like a normal expansion. The main list is short and leans on Legendary and Mythical Pokémon, while the real draw sits beside it in the Classic Collection: faithful reprints of cards from across the game's history, kept in their original artwork and stamped with the 25th anniversary logo. Flying Pikachu, Surfing Pikachu, Mew, Ho-Oh and Zamazenta all appear.

Why it still gets chased

Celebrations was never sold as a standard expansion with its own booster boxes on the shelf. Its packs are smaller than a normal booster and were distributed inside the anniversary products, which ties the whole set to those sealed items. The Classic Collection is what keeps demand up — it lets someone own the artwork of cards going back to the earliest days of the game without hunting original print runs at original prices.

What sits in this collection

Elite Trainer Boxes, the Collector's Chest, mini tins, the Pikachu V-Union Special Collection, the Zacian Deluxe Pin Collection, the Dark Sylveon V and Lance's Charizard V boxes, and individual booster packs. The ETB and the Collector's Chest carry the most packs and are the sensible pick if you want the widest spread of anniversary cards in one purchase. The V boxes are the lower-commitment route in, each built around one named card. Mini tins are the usual choice for a present.

Orders go out tracked across the UK, and from 5 September 2026 the same stock is on the shelves at 36 High Street, Highworth, Wiltshire.

All products are sourced from trusted, genuine distributors. Booster pack contents are randomised — cards vary by pack, and no specific card, including any pictured or mentioned chase card, is guaranteed.
